Tarra Jones rejoined KSWO in May 2023 where she serves as evening Anchor and Executive Producer for the 6 & 10.
Tarra, originally from Pensacola, Florida, spent her life as an Army Brat traveling in and out of the country. She graduated from Cameron University with her Associate's and Bachelor of Science, a Master of Leadership from Mid-America Christian University and a Master of Theology from Campbellsville University. She was also awarded a dual PhD in Ministry Leadership and Theology from Anointed Bible University, Ghana. Her focus is on Women’s Ministry. Tarra is married with three adult children and eight grandchildren.
Tarra loves engaging the community in person and with stories and information about things relevant to their lives. She also loves telling a good joke.
