Karina joined KTTC in 2024 as a contributor and Spanish-content multimedia journalist. She has nearly 15 years of experience as a correspondent, news anchor, and producer for various news organizations in California, Arizona, and Washington, D.C.
Karina's most fulfilling aspect of her career has been meeting people from diverse backgrounds and experiencing many facets of Latin American culture while covering human interest stories abroad.
After taking some time off from journalism to raise her family, Karina is thrilled to return to her first love. She is particularly excited about sharing Spanish news with the community in southeastern Minnesota.
