Skylar Teddington

Originally from Connecticut, Skylar Teddington and her family moved to Lawton when she was 8. She attended Cameron University. Not knowing what career to choose, Skylar chose journalism and media production, producing and anchoring her own entertainment and news/comedy show in college called "PopAxe Culture."

Skylar began her internship with KSWO in 2023 while finishing up her degree at Cameron before graduating Cum Laude and joining the 7News crew full-time as a multimedia journalist and weekend morning anchor. You can catch her reporting on Good Morning Texoma or providing the latest behind the desk on Texoma Morning Weekends.

Skylar loves getting out in the community and meeting new people to tell their stories and learn more about the community she's come to call home.
