Joseph Sneed

Joseph Sneed has produced the 10 p.m. newscast since joining the KSWO team in December 2024.

Before producing, Joseph worked for the federal government in Florida, Texas and Washington state.

Joseph is a graduate of Barry University in Miami, Florida and holds a degree in Broadcasting. At Barry, Joseph learned skills such as how to report, write, anchor, produce, direct and edit for media such as radio and television. Before graduation, he interned at WPBT Channel 2 in Miami as a production assistant. There he learned how to prep for show production, how to operate equipment during the show and post-production duties.

Joseph has always dreamed of working in television, where he can touch the lives of viewers and their families in some way. He learned firsthand that it’s not an easy industry to break into. He is very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the KSWO team, where he can put the skills he has to use while learning new skills. Joseph’s goal is to produce accurate and transparent journalism that will make a long-lasting positive impact.

In his spare time, Joseph enjoys roller skating, gardening, taking trips and spending time with family and friends.
